Brain Interface computer Library Description
A GIAN course on Data Mining Algorithms for Graph, Text, and Streaming Data at IIITDM Jabalpur during Dec 19-27, 2017
Prof. Raj Bhatnagar, a distinguished professor of computer science at University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA would deliver the modules in the course as a foreign expert. The major objective of the proposed course is to provide some insights into data analysis challenges for complex data types of graphs, texts, and data streams. The course will provide an outline of recent developments in the applications of these data types and research results. The course would be useful for Executives and researchers from government/non-government organization, students pursuing BTech/MTech/MS/MSc/Ph.D. degrees in computer and information sciences or faculties from reputed academic and technical institutions working in various domains of Sciences, Engineering, and Business Analytics who need to process complex and large datasets.
The course will focus on data mining essentials and will show how to combine data visualizations and machine learning into a powerful framework for data exploration. The course will cover standard approaches to clustering, classification, regression and model selection, image and text mining, but emphasize their relatedness to data visualization and techiniques that can help us in understanding of derived predictive models.
Last Date of Online Registration: 01 October, 2017 The broad objective of this course is to make individuals who are doing their research and teaching on Pattern Recognition. Pattern Recognition techniques are widely used for many applications such as biometrics, medical imaging etc since a long time. The objective of this course is to give basic of pattern recognition concept with applications to computer vision, which help to upgrade the expertise and capabilities of the faculty members of various engineering institutions in India so that they can generate climate for research and enthusiasm for academic excellence. The objective of the course work is also to provide the theoretical fundamentals coupled with practical knowledge of pattern recognition. The hands-on training session will be conducted using MATLAB and Weka.

This workshop is about Bioinformatics and its various applications. It is an interdisciplinary field that develops methods and software tools for understanding biological data. As an interdisciplinary field of science, bioinformatics combines computer, science, statistics, mathematics, and engineering to analyze and interpret biological data. In this course experts will provide an introduction and overview of the current state of the field. They will discuss the main principles that underpin bioinformatics analyses, look at the types of biological information and databases that are commonly used, and finally examine some of the studies that are being conducted, particularly with reference to transcription regulatory systems.
The last decade has witnessed some of the major innovations that have transformed the ways of health-care, agriculture, education, communication and networking of people. Whereas the world is moving ahead with increasing communication and collaborative efforts in dealing with societal problems and issues, creation of local network of academic institutions is paramount for socioeconomic growth of different regions. The proposed workshop is the first in the region to provide exposure to students, researchers, budding entrepreneurs and faculty to the world of real life problem solving and social entrepreneurship through innovations and collaborative research. As Institutions of higher learning in the region, we are committed to promote and facilitate social entrepreneurship and technological innovations in order to accelerate economic growth and to contribute meaningfully in India's mission to emerge as a knowledge power.
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing (IIITDM), Jabalpur and Indian Institute of Technology Delhi jointly organize a National Conference on Smart Cities-2016 on 25-26 November 2016 at Jabalpur. This opens up a forum for discussing issues and challenges of emerging landscape of urban e-society.
