Descriptiion: In clustering, the distance measures that are used to produce the actual clusters that exists within the data, plays a crucial role. Due to availability of diverse data sets, several distance measures have been devised that can suitably cluster a specific type of data and simultaneously fail to cluster certain type of data. In our work, we are devising new distance measure based on entropy to suitably cluster categorical data.
